Has anyone got a spare unjoined long one as my first dynamo driving idea isn't reliable and i can't justifie the cost of a whole packet[b[/b]

how about meccano gears and chains not very realistic but reliable.

i really dont want to use a chain be cause i have to take it off to move. Dental floss wont work be cause the area gets covered in oil
