Here comes a nice "little" engine.
Is is a Fleischmann engine in quite good condition.
Missing the chimney, burner and a kind of small door in the back.
Engine should work, turns very smoothly. You have to solder the boiler back to the firebox (there are 3 small tin lids where the boiler has to be soldered onto)
The base is about 35 x 20 cm big.
Water gauge is okay, missing only the 2nd SV on the boiler.
Pressure gauge should work, but it is incomplete.
Look at the pictures

I am open to all kinds of offers.
Please consider the boiler fittings alone are worth a lot.
So if the engine does not fetch the sum i thought of i will take it all apart

Why do the Fleischmanns have a door in the back of the firebox?

That door seems to help the Esbit burn more complete. I assume it is for Ventilation.

I really don't know it

With these engines there came also a plastic funnel.
Maybe it is like a small hidden place to store your fleischmann funnel?

I would be all over that!!!  But I also suffer from that comman Hawaiian disease....

Lackamoney

*sigh*

Anything I can swap?  I have some fairly nice Marx pre-war tin trains, and some accesories.  Will gladly trade for steam engines, they dont even have to be pretty, just repairable.
