A very nice locomotive. Look forward to hearing more about your experiences with this loco's running in period. Just take care as Tag Gorton has stated - One of the hidden plus points is that Millie, while eminently suitable for the job, is not a 'starter' engine!
And what made you choose this loco over the Mortimer as you originally hinted? |

You know what?
I knew what engine you bought, from very very beginning of you poll....
How i knew: very simple!
The roundhouse millie was the only engine you misspelled ("rounghouse")
So my thought was: he must have been nervous when the wrothe that, because....that's the engine he bought

Good theory, but he actually spelt Bertie wrong as well - 'roundhouse berie'.
I'm amazed that there is not a spellchecker option on here as the standard of some recent postings (with some of them still at school as well!) is truly appalling.
My English is very poor (I come from Scotland after all) so I copy my posting into MS Word first to check the spelling before posting it online. However that does not cope well with some of the technical phrases, etc. |

Im not sure I think its because that when you compare the 2 the millie seems warm and you get a vision of a little steam engine chugging along on a nice day when the mortimer just dosent give me that feeling.
that probably made no sense to you lot. _________________ knowledge is power
