Now there's an idea
But if that wasn't allowed ... I too love my little Jenny Wren but, if push came to shove, it would have to be the M101. It's a real solid brute of an engine that goes as well as it looks. _________________ Regards

So hard to pick one.... but I'd go with either my Mamod roadster or Wilesco D21 |

My Wilesco D45.....my long-lost dad gave me that on my 10th birthday, as he'd promised to do ever since I was 5 or so......as an engine it's nothing special, but the sentimental value outweighs any notion of value or rarity.

This is turning into a really interesting topic because there is such a wide spread of makes that are listed. I did think that when I first posted the thread there would one or two makes that would dominate but this is clearly not the case. What a fantastic range of engines we all have.

To be honest, two were more or less gifts, no money in the world can buy those. I also have a couple that I hold to be special and if I had to part with them I would not be a very happy camper. Friends criticize me for having any, but the fun and enjoyment I get from them in a normally depressing world gives them a value that can not always be measured with monetary value. _________________ Your life is an occasion...Rise to it |

For me it would be my David Auld verticle because its solid construction means it will last forever. Also, I will always remember it because I paid far too much for it and it won me engine of the month |

WOW!!
I have never even heard of half of the engines mentioned here. I am trying to win an old rather beat up Mamod on ebay right now. Cause 20-30 bux is all I can afford, and shipping is a killer right now. |

Hard question. As much as I like the earlier engines I own, and the OZ one, I would have to keep my SE2a.
It was my first engine, and a great runner _________________

Probably my Jensen 20
Though I'd be reluctant to part with any of my modified Jensens _________________
