Hi,  I was given this website by kusuchi a couple of days ago and finally joined after pouring thru pages of the forum for two days.  Only been bitten by the steam bug since Jan and wife will tell you I've gone crazy.  Have picked up a number of German and US machines and after going thru the forum can't wait to get a Brit. stationary. Really like the two cylinder Bowmans

Hi John,
Your's was one of the sites I had found early and enjoyed it.   Must be a lot of work.  A Carl from Ill. sent me images of his collection which was quite extensive.  I've used it as a referrence.
Someday I'd like to be able create a catalogue myself-so far have just captured images from ebay where the vaste majority have been purchased.   Really excited about a Frisbee and a couple of early American makes.

Welcome from Australia.
Good luck in hunting down the Bowman.
I would love to own the 2 cylinder Bowman too but so far one has alluded me but I've got plenty of other engines to keep me happy.

On the bottom of every forum page is 'The Toy & Model Steam' webring panel. If you click on the next or previous buttons it will step you through many other websites about toy steam.
Watch your bank balance as its amazing how quickly it disappears as you aquire that next engine 'You must have'.

Good luck with your collection.

Tony

Hi Al,

Good to see you posting

Just replied to your e mail.  Hope my photobucket instructions were clear.

I know a lot of people here are going to be very interested in seeing your collection of 74 pieces.

I'll leave the recommendations for the British stationary to the UK members.  I'm sure you'll get a lot of subjective partisan advice.

In the meantime, a warm welcome (82F) from the US Virgin Islands.

Another warm welcome from the US Virgin Islands.

(I'm only still up because my Dad and I went to see a movie tonight)

We saw Speed Racer, good but kind of long,  the kids loved it.

Not convinced about the PG rating, however.

Hi and welcome from Bournemouth .

If you can get a Bowman twin it will be worth it as I have managed to acquire both the M122 and M140. .

74 engines since January, that's some going.
