I had a D141 workshop and had major problems with the alignment between the flywheel and the lineshaft pulley because the engine frame was out of alignment (canted to the side) on the boiler.  I have now sold it and would not buy another modern Wliesco.

Cheers

Chris

Well, I went today and looked at the engine.  It is a 60's model D20, grey base, red valve handles, weight safety.  Has a small dent in the top of the boiler, and the whistle is bent, other than that, it is very clean, looks to have not been fired more than a few times at most, it is bolted to a finished board with a matching Wilesco M56 workshop, same vintage.  Only other issues, is both pieces are dented at the 4 corners, cause the screws were overtightened.  I have put all of my plastic models in the trunk of the Volvo and I am going to swap him 4 or 5 of my kits for the engine and workshop.  I am so into this, I am swapping and selling my other collection so I can buy more steam stuff!!
Anyone here interested in Marx trains or plastic model kits?
I will hopefully have tomorrow, and I will post pics then.
