I love the still-shots of the run.

The angle you take the pictures from, makes it seem realistic.

I wouldnt get that wickham kit if I was you because the cardboard roof is almost impossible to bend without creating a big crease.

the ip lucy was my first loco and I strongley recommend it to anyone starting a railway as they are easy to build and paint being a bolt together design.

but if its something cheaper that you want then a lollypop tram is perfect.

Have a look at Peter Longfils website to see how to successfully bend the roof on this kit - http://rvlr.photos.gb.com/c1482682.html

I'll be visiting the Locolines stall at the Merstham Steam Rally on Saturday, and one of these Wickhams is on the shopping list.

Well its between these two now!!

The ONLY reason i can see me going with the Tram over the railcar is that it is cheaper thus i will have a bit of cash to spend on some stock and a bit of track!!

Hows your Lollypop coming?? Pauly?

its still in pieces

just gave millie another run this time with the tippers but just as it had completed its first circuit the middle wagon jumped off the track just before going over the bridge and as I ran to catch and stop it the train pulled the wagons kicking and screaming around the layout while they through bits and pieces of them shelves around and when I at last managed to stop it all but 1 wagon had escaped unscathed as you can see they have self-destructed and it took ages to find the parts again.

after I had removed and repaired the tippers millie finished its run pulling some flats back and forth.

Do the tippers need some weight added to help keep them on the track??
