Just introducing myself, but I doubt you will see too many posts from me I have much to learn about Mamods and steam engines in general, so I'll lurk a bit and shake you all for info occasionally.

I buy and sell various things and occasionally Mamods I have 5 for sale right now see the for sale section.

Like many of you I had Mamods as a kid and in fact still have my original 2, which will not be for sale, but need restoration.

As a kid I remember firing my TE1a with matches and sticks   , what that did to it I can't imagine, I must have a closer look. But in credit to the maker it did survive to steam properly another day.

Cheers for now

Dave,

Hi Dave,

And another welcome from OZ, hope you enjoy your time here.  There is heaps to learn from some very talented people and information to swap as well.  Be careful, as this hobby can become adictive very quickly.  As my collection has grown my bank balance has decidedly headed in the other direction.

Cheers

Chris
