how about a shed? if you have a few locos you could make a round house?

I do intend to install a tuxcraft shed on the big siding coming off the table.

just asked the parents and they have changed their minds about the pond and dont want any extensions apparently I have already taken loads of grass.

so I came up with this it is a little piece of O gauge track and basically the train of tippers pulls alongside, dumps the slate, then the slate is loaded up into small wagons and taken into the cutting works.
I still have to build some doors to make the illusion complete.

it was raining and the railway looks great in the rain so thought Id take some pics.

does anyone know how long mindyourownbusiness takes to spread because I planted this 2 weeks ago and it doesnt seem to have spread at all.

It takes a little while to take hold but once it grows - it grows everywhere...in no time you'll be pulling it up from the trackbed and replanting bits of it elsewhere so it doesn't derail your locos.

You can propagate it very easily by cutting it up and just pushing the part you cut off into some peat.

The WOODROW RAILWAY doesnt just deal with slate it also deals with scrap and a member has purchased some so the lads have gave it a clean.

they then strapped it down to a flat wagon for katie to deliver

they decided instead of posting it they would lay some more track so they could take it themselves when asked why they said, its quicker

but then the law said they couldnt lay track down the A66 so theyll just have to post it.

the station has just received a proper platform and the mine some more scrap.

track ready for laying but the negotiations will be tough.

extremely tough according to the PW lads who have prepard them selves with rifals, hand grenades, armoured patrol train and a new security officers

that should help keep the line safe.

Thanks its actually just a model recycle bin with 1 of the flap doors broken off and put on backwards then mounted on a LGB field chassis and the guy inside is a playmobil figure with his legs hacked off.

can't beat a Xenomorph for security

but keep them away from your locos, that acidic blood will have the chrome off your tractors firebox in no time

One thing - LGB track is quite chunky and the rails are fairly deep too, looks like it's easy to ballast. With PECO SM32 track it's more scale in appearance but small locos can pick up the ballast a little bit. My little Hunslet just ran over a snail and the snail slime made the ballast stick to it's wheels. It was going nowhere with it's front wheels in the air just now.

No harm came to the snail though!
