So you mean the new all metal Meccano set?

If you do here is a video of it been run by a Te1a posted by one of our members a while back which will give you an idea of size.

Hmmm...  has someone been in the Meccano/Erector section of Ebay?
I was yesterday, it was the size that stopped me, no where to put it, not to mention I have the Constructioneer ferris wheel set... and that is also too big.

Chris.
Hi as you can see from the Petrie Steam shed photos I have one that i have adapted to be steam driven instead of the battery motor provided. My TE is particularly suited to this as the fine speed control is available and with the 3 inch pullies used for the adaption it runs like a dream. Kids love it, mums are fascinated and dads remember Meccano. The dimensions are 18 inches high, 16 inches long 10 inches wide. The main wheel axle i replaced with a longer one as the one provided is a bit short and balances on the supports so if knocked or you moved it the wheel comes off. Replaced the rubber drive bands with some metal ones and it  runs like a dream.
