#233, Fleischmann Blacksmith at Anvil in Shed, 1954

At Les's suggestion I am now dating my Fleischmann's more accurately.  This one was first made by Doll.

This is a 1954 because:

The walls of the shed have an embossed pattern, earlier models were smooth.

It has the golden curved Fleischmann decal.

The base is a lighter gray than earlier models.

It has 'Made in Western Germany' on the bottom in white print.

Thanks Wallace,

As a collector who does not restore accessories, that's exactly what I'm looking for.

Unfortunately the E bay photos are not always accurate representations of the item.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

That one sure looks great, agreed on the Ebay photos, one cant always determine the condition from an Ebay photo, focus, lighting, and just plain deception are all too easy.

Well done Richard.
That one is in really good condition and you will have enough soon take build a workshop as well as the fairground, great to see the different varieties also, as I have just looked at my one and realised it has the smooth sides.
