I did something terrible today- typical Fri 13th!
I prepared my Jensen for a run- then i got distracted-
when i came back it was smoking!
i quickly refilled boiler, still heats up.

Maybe the smoke was the paint inside the Firebox, wait till something else happens before spending money, but by all means be careful. _________________ Your life is an occasion...Rise to it |

Hope it's okay.
It's definitely Friday the 13th here too, we've had three live system problems at work this morning. |

Clinton, one additional thought...make sure you have a grounding wire or grounded 3 prong plug on that engine. This is in case the heater decides to short circuit and electrifies all the metal
You might be OK if you didn't leave it unattended too long... _________________ Visit IndianaRog and The Temple of Steam: www.indianarog.com |

OUCH!
Just keep an eye on possible fried insulation. Rog is right, I used to live overseas, and I know what 220V feels like... it hurts!
As long as you did not burn out the boiler tho, sounds OK to me! _________________ Keep Creativity Alive! |
