I was at the Harrogate model engineering exhibition a month or so ago.
Very intrigued with this.......

Very difficult to photograph due to reflections.
No vid cam.......

It was rowed, perfectly by the central figure...

Does anyone know anything about it, or it`s servos?

Looks like something out of one of Johnny Depp's Pirates movies!!

I wonder if the action is via spindles that actuate the oars, with the skeleton just following the action.  Of course, where and how are the spindles actuated!!!

Clever piece of work and obviously a crowd pleaser.

Cool

Crabfu made a steam powered row boat. The idea is there but no actual boat yet. http://www.crabfu.com/steamtoys/rowboat/

I've seen things like this. It has 1 motor on each oar that was turned off or reversed when you wanted to turn it
