When Steve_S approached the team with the idea a few months ago, we all thought the idea was a good un.

Never in our wildest dreams did we think the response would be as overwhelming as it was.

I spent most of the weekend flitting between tables like a mother hen, heckling the team if I thought that we had missed something. (I'm surprised the guys are still speaking to me.

)

We only had one glitch, and I hope I've covered that in the announcements thread.

That said, just take time to think about what we accomplished here.

Members from all over the world, united in toy steam, and pulling together to make the event a resounding success.

I bet there are a few politicians that would love to be able to do that.

So from a rapidly calming down old Sandman, a great big thank you to all of our members for the support and enthusiasm you have shown for the event and this forum.

I salute all of you.
