Well, now that I have had time to wind down a bit from the weekend.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank all concerned in the making of all of this possible, and the fellow members of this forum for posting some great pics and video's of their lovely collections.

Could I add a special thank you to Sandy for his homely approach, in being the first to post a response in the chat board, regarding each members table as they came online.

Again, thank you guys for making all of this possible.

Just to say a big thank you for so many tables and so many fantastic displays.  I spent a lot of time just browsing the different sheds.

I wish I had put aside more time to do more exciting things on my little table ... like steam up a few engines ... but ... well ... I was able to devote the time.  Sorry.

There is always next year.

Pete

well i enjoyed it way down here under I had intended to do a better video but time and work  put that idea out the window. sunday our time managed to steam some up and video but went to upload to  had been going for an hour when i had to go and milk cows  got home 2 hours later and it had just finished unloading.
I think i need to be better organized for the next 1
Many thanks to the organizers for their time and effort
My only query would be should we keep adding to our table
or should we only set it up once at the start and leave it at that

I think it's better as it was, where things were added as time went on. It gave the whole thing a 'live' feel (which it was!) and it kept the surprises coming too. In that respect I think it was actually better than a 'real life' event, because it evolved and grew rather than being static, and that kept people interested for the whole time.

I agree adding stuff over the weekend kept you going back to everyones table and made me find things I had missed the first time.

I think I agree as well. I could never have done my 'world tour' as a one off post. Part of the fun for me, and hopefully those reading my posts, was that over the weekend I could keep adding to my 'table' and take the story a little further.

I would have liked to contribute more, but I was just too tired to contemplate all those pictures.    So I went for one big thing, and let it fly!

Hi guys

Been away again on business in Scandinavia, and missed it all, but I did manage to drop in on a few evenings though and WOW

What a fantastic effort from all concerned, it certainly brightened up my dark dreary evenings. (And run up my hotel broadband bill!!!)

Brilliant organisation from the mods, and a brilliant show from the member’s tables.

Once I have recovered from the trip I will while away many hours going through all the tables in the sheds.

Thanks guys.

As a new guy here, I want to say a huge thanks to all of the people who displayed their steamies here. I spent several hours looking over the displays and am in AWE of all the units represented here. I even located a model I  owned years ago and then lost. Thanks for the great efforts involved. It was a trip to Steam Heaven for me !!
