I am very chuffed
As to when it will be installed, i dont know. I could do it now, or when i have all the other bits. that way i can keep running it.
but if i do it now, i can iron out any problems that may come up. _________________

| Good grief, that's a lot of gear. I'll bet it really increases the performance of the engine, as well as the amount of work (fun) it takes to steam it. |

cant you buy all of the fittings? thats what im planning on doing and just pay for the boiler to be made.
my edrig is in bits and wont be put back together till i get my coal boiler as im making him into a saddle tank, and if i make body work, ill have to mod it for the coal boiler.
what gauge or thickness is the boiler and firebox? _________________ Any man who says he's brave is either a bloody idiot or a liar - Fred Dibnah

I could buy all the parts, but-
I am not paying £90 and waiting 3 months jsut for the axle pump and bypass
cant buy the tanks, grate or ashpan, as far as i know.
the sight glass needs to be made differently to a normal one. _________________

Yeah. I shall, as they are fairly cheap and can be easily bought. _________________

i know places that do sell them, but you really want one for a 16mm loco, you done want one that for somthing larger, or it may make to much draft and suck the fire out _________________

I would think that a small blower would be quite easy to make - a cheap motor and a little brass to make the fan should do the trick. _________________ It's a Mamod Jim, but not as we know it!

Could do.
This is a DJB blower, not your normal style fan
