thats terrific. there was guy around the corner from where liz lived at fernyhills .he had one about that size and had a track right around his house. the last i saw of it the track had been taken up and stored behind his shed. just maybe............???????is it a ride on???

From the look of the cylinders, drivers, and the cab, I would have to say that looks alot like a Porter locomotive. Very nice purchase. Also a nice way to get into Grand Scale railroading (I believe it is called).

There is a guy in our local 'model railroad' group who is scratchbuilding for the last 5 years, what I think is a 3" scale, 7 1/2" gauge Mason Forney (2-6-6t). He belongs to the Adobe Mountain group up in Phoenix, and will be running it on their trackage.

Sorry about the wait that you will have to endure, but, it will pay off nicely.

correct, it is a Porter, most likely to the Marie Estelle design (very popular in the UK!)
