Here's the Weeden complete with its new paint. You may wonder, as I do, what's happened to the pulley wheel? When I took it apart I put all of the bits in a box, or I thought I did..... If and when the pulley reappears in this universe it'll be fitted.
Anyway, I'm pleased with the end result, and I need to say a big thank-you to James for giving me this engine to sort out..... I hope you like it Meyart!

Steve, you never cease to amaze me mate.
That engine is in far better nick than when it left the factory.
You've performed another miracle.
Are you related in some way to a higher being??? _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/sandmansteamshack/index.htm

wow wow wow wow wow!
I don't know what to say. If I hadn't have seen you at Lincoln, that would still be in a box, in bits, in my room.
I know the shit condition that engine was in, anybody else would have thrown it away. The job you've done is utterly amazing, Steve.
You should be VERY proud of yourself!! Thanks for doing what you've done, made me very happy _________________ Forum Founder, Owner and Admin.

I've followed this latest Steve resurrection from beginning to end & it has to be the most extraordinary to date
Some of the best would have understandably baulked at this one but not Steve! Ingenious solutions were found & some very knotty problems overcome. The end result is not only stunning but this engine now has a very definite character, all of its own. Can't say I was too enamoured by this style of Weeden but I’d feel very proud to have this little fellow sitting on my shelf (the engine that is, not Steve, although..... come to think of it, that would be very handy too!! )
Congratulations on yet another fantastic job.
