When you say "it dosnt want to know", what's not happening? Will it run on a flat surface without track. I'm thinking, maybe, the flanges are binding on the track? If not then, maybe, it's just too heavy. Gearing down more might help in that case. Running in wouldn't do any harm whatever the problem.
Any posibility of a video of it trying to go? _________________ Regards

Well i had it going again a sec ago with two major differnces...
1) i fired using meths.. more awkward to light but made a fair bit of difference.
2) I have added an old mullered OO van wagon on the front and put two lead weights in which has seemed to improved it!
Hope to run it on a friends railway on saturday!

if it were me Will I'd pop an uprated safety valve on it set to about 25-30 psi and gas fire it!
Dunno if the boiler would take it but hey its worth a go! _________________ burning fingers since 1989! |
