My mate's Harry the Rocket is actually a steallar little runner. It has been slightly modified (reversibly) with Meccano sprockets and chain and has been modified to run on gauge 3 which fits the scale much better. _________________ Paul

It's ugly as hell but it's not unique in that respect. I've heard it runs quite well.
Please don't poke your eyes out. Send it to me before you do that. _________________ Regards

so its just me and James?
I have seen them run well but that doesnt make up for a design that looks like the designer drew it blindfolded at an office party as a joke now does it. _________________ The Woodrow story

Looks like the discerning members and those with taste do not own this particular model. What a suprise that you AND James do.

I think it's still an essential "want" type engine, if you are into Mamods AND a loco fan. So it's not really on my list. _________________
