Hi, I cleaned up the engine a bit, and fired her up on Sterno for probably the first time time in 30+ years. I used a wilesco d141 fuel tray (basically a d14 with a workshop) Not seen in the video but the boiler was smoking because the Sterno was burning all the old soot off. Also, today i received Johns correct Fleischmann burner . I have a question, How to you put the video in the page, so you don't have click on a link? anyway heres the vid (the whistle doesn't get pick up by the camera)
No lack of help here
They are great running engines, remember the oiler above the valve, it will last you many years. _________________ Non Impedite Raditioni Cogitationis
I love the sound of a Fleischmann running...first steam engine I ever owned was one and I ran the legs off it. They can rattle, rock and roll...but what's wrong with that!! _________________ Visit IndianaRog and The Temple of Steam: www.indianarog.com
