I think that d22 is very slow, I own the same set up of 2 d10 pistons in my boat and it when new could run very slowly. Wish i had a proper d22 though

Now how about making your Wilesco turbine go super slowly?...

Oddly enough I've never tried that

I'll bet the fish tank pump would work.

But turbines are right boring if there isn't a big cloud of steam in your face and a scream like a miniature siren in your ears

The T-90 is nice, The Jensen 95G is Elegant, The Empire B-35 is a gutless wonder (but it sure make for an interesting experience).

Reviving this thread with 3 videos of the 1930's Jensen 25 That arrived this week straight from the Temple Of Steam.

This engine has got to be the smoothest and slowest runner I have.  Third video is the slowest, but it does stop a few times.

I've got to mix up a proper video of this piece for youtube.  It's quite the looker (and runner).  I've had it running on as little as 40VAC, and it runs very well indeed on my small aquarium pump.

That was slow, Mark! Hard to beat.
But what was the purpose of the thin thread on the driving pulley?
Wouldn't it be better off without that (small) load?
Phil

I was running a generator on it, so I went with a dental floss drive band.  It's slack in these vids, for the purpose of the demonstration

I wonder if it would have kept going in #3 if I had cut it..

I still have to mix a proper video of it going like a scalded cat.

Now that's slow!  Those small piston valve Wilescos are great performers.

I missed the opportunity to film a REALLY slow dual.  A Jensen 55 running off my gutless fishy pump as it cools down.  Now the water is gone from it, the oil has thickened, and it won't turn over on that whiff of air.

I'll just have to steam it again soon
