I don't if you guys know this (I didn't) but another way of ordering parts besides directly from Jensen , is from  mini steam, you can practically find any part that Jensen offers, and some for cheaper

http://www.ministeam.com/acatalog/_Accessories___Misc__Parts_.html

there is some other accessories but this is the main page, notice in the id plate section they list an 85G, which i thought was only a prototype, anyway hope you found the info somewhat helpful

Connor, good find and yes, they offer an alternative to ordering from Jensen...especially if you try Jensen and they are out of a particular part.  Earlier this year I needed some Jensen lamp posts but Jensen themselves were between runs and out of stock.  Ministeam had several and I bought them.

Only downside to ministeam is they charge a fairly high postage rate...something to check if you are ordering from them.  On the plus side, wherever you order parts, ministeam has some great photos of items you might not know what they look like.

Thanks, I think I'll order from Jensen because all i need are rivets and boiler straps, and if postage is high then it's probably a good idea not to order from ministeam.

I have ordered from them quite a few times. Service is very good and, for me, it is very useful to have a tracking number for my shipments specially when shipping to my country.

With Jensen I got a few things lost in the mail while shipping to a Miami FL address. Because they didn't have a way to trace the shipment (cheaper service)  I waited for 2 months, the time for the the parts to go back to Jensen and for them to ship again.

Sometimes it is worth to pay extra but get tracking number (like USPS priority service).

I've found that shipping directly to my country is faster and secure rather than ship to Miami and pay somebody to bring the parts to me... at the end, direct shipping is cheaper too as usually customs don't charge me any import taxes.
No, it is not because I have a pretty face... what they do, is that they do it randomly and always go for medical, medicines, and sumptuous electronics.

Rob.

I see they have some interesting aftermarket parts also, like the air compressor adapter.

I wonder if they would be interested in my Jensen 85 whistle adapter

I still order direct from Jensen even if their prices are a few cents higher, because I would rather let them get the extra money and stay in business as long as possible.

You also need to check your prices vs Jensen's list as a few are a lot more money at ministeam.
