got this from Alan at Dream Steam, today.
Hello Clinton
All’s well – she has been running for a good hour this morning and runs beautifully now. Just watch you keep her level when the boiler is full as water from the boiler can slosh into the steam take-off and cause extra priming. This applies to when you push her backwards to change direction as well as water can slosh up then too, so do it gently and she is fine.
In the post she goes – enjoy! |

Clinton,
I have owned both 45mm and 32mm gauge variants of Millie and both were an absolute treat to run. The 45mm one was the 42nd Millie built and had seen a lot of running when I got it. Despite its many miles, it was a champion performer and is still running very well for its new owner. The only reason I traded it off was because I wanted a 32mm gauge model, which I acquired brand new. I am sure you will have a wonderful experience with your new Millie. Enjoy! _________________ Paul
