Seems rather confined for a workshop.
Have you ever set fire to the curtains/duvet when steaming one up? |
nearly, and steam oil is not my wife's preferred lubricant in bed, so I always use steam up in the garden now |
, steam oil can't be good for the skin either! |

My upstairs workshop.
Most of these engines are waiting for repair.
There are two benches here, but it's still hard to find free work space.
Downstairs workshop.

Got to check the output of the AC generators, John.
Only pure sine wave is acceptable!

Right, that's it, something had to be done about the s******e that I call a workshop! I spent all of Friday night tidying, most of today tidying and shall spend a lot of tomorow tidying and modifying benches.

Worked with my mate most of the day fitting a new corrugated bitumen roof on the workshop.
With all the hammering and banging, all the stuff fell off the walls, and I'm afraid I'll have to set to with a will tomorrow in order to get it back to it's usual tidy appearance.
At least it's water tight again. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/sandmansteamshack/index.htm

Do you mean this one?
I bought it off Dampfzauber (Mirko) when we met in Wuppertal.
Made from aluminium and steel, Mirko called it a "mystery" engine.
Here is a link to his story about it.

Since I tidied up my workshop and put a telly in it Iv been spendign a lot more time in there because having a telly helps create a very relaxed atmosphere, your having a difficult time getting something to work and getting all hot headed and tempered just put on some standup and have a laugh and relax.
well I go tto think why not hook up a spare game unit to it
anyone here who knows me well will know that I have an interest in old school gaming (early 90s and 80s) and I had an NES unit going spare because my bedroom telly cant take anymore systems (its got a playstation 2, Sega megadrive and a couple more obscure consoles hooked up right now)
anyway now I can sit back on me workshop stool and play NES
nothing quite like a bit of Contra

Hey Les.
I've got the very same Dremmel Drill Press attachment you have there on your Workshop picture.
Do you know where can I get the clamps to hold the piece you are working on?
I know many of you can build your own but I am not that good and lack the equipment to build my own.
Off course, Dremmel does not produce/sell them.
