I've just replaced the nameplates on my Midwest Fantail Launch "Firebird" with nice brass ones from PPS Steam Models:

Thanks to whoever it was who pointed out these plates (James?). They are ideal.

The only problem is, they now show up the ageing paintwork that I had to touch up after removing the old "temporary" ones (which had been temporary for many years!).
