Hi,
After I saw photos elsewhere of a Princess Of Wales Dolled up, I decided to Doll up my Prince Of Wales given to me along with stock on Friday! This is fitted with a cheapo but reliable meths burner.

The first side...

...the other side...

...and the burner.

Do any of you guys know a good way to make sure the burner in my Mamod is still alight? Thanks.

Very nice mate!

Are you the guy that bought it off ebay? Or am i mixing my wires up here? Well a good way to make sure its still lit is to put your hand over the loco. If it feels hot its still alight

You might benefit from getting a wick burner, it would be a lot better!

Ta! No I didn't buy it off eBay, I got given it by a friends Dad complete with stock!

I'm only 14 so I don't currently have the money for a wick burner. But i'm definatley going to be ordering a high pressure saftey valve soon. I'm happy to say that i'm lucky and have a working boiler with no hole in it!

There was only 250 of those ever made! Its very very rare! The high pressure valves make a lot of difference!

Cheers MM

I guess I did quite well for the price (£0.00)! I thought it was out of a thousand! 250 is even better!
