The one on the history of the Mamod Steam Rollers. IMHO one of the best starts to any thread. _________________ Manx, the mobile man |

Presumably the idea was that we would provide links to the threads, otherwise this thread could be very frustrating to a newcomer?
Shouldn't this thread be sticky?
Here's the Bowman identification thread, which contains some useful (I thought!) reference material...

Totally agree there Steve.
I might make another post about it in forum feedback.
But if we keep this thread it'll have to be tidied up (some posts deleted like this one), and maybe moved _________________

I suggest it could be in the same format as MM's eBay ID announcement on the eBay page. Presumably only mods can edit it? Members could PM suggested threads for inclusion to whoever maintains it. That way it could be kept neat and free of extraneous chatter! I realise I'm making work for some lucky person.... |

Thats easy enough Steve! Whenever someone wants to add their ebay account they just PM me and its done in about 10 seconds _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

Right I've copied all the threads mentioned.
I didn't want to lock them because I think we can still add to these threads through time when we get more information or theories.
The topics still remain and are repliable in their original locations. When you reply in one it copies over to the other too.
The main/best thing about this is we've got all the decent threads/information in one place. All or most of these were 'lost' in cyber space pages back so newbies and older members can access them miles quicker and easier
This should really be in forum improvements not sure why it's in technical tips I'm not going to move it without asking etc..
Cheers, MM _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

Great stuff MM.
Only thing we need now is mods for the new board
I think it'll be a great improvement though. _________________
