I posted a message to this group about converting my Mamod to 45mm guage and the first reply reply I got to it was from Tag Gorton, Editor of Garden Rail the monthly UK magazine so this group seems like a wealth of knowledge so far.
If you are interested in Garden locos I recommend joining it. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm

Tag Gorton must be the most well known person in Garden Railways! I have a video of some garden lines, and his is in it! _________________ Si

I used to be a member, and I expect to join again soon. One of the things that I enjoyed most was the organised open days on various garden railways of the association members. I must have visited many of the garden railways in the Derby/Essex/South Wales area, as well as various steam events. I would not be suprised if Tag has seen Titan run years ago. Whether he remembers it or not is another matter! Mike Goodall (of Goodall filler valve fame) should certainly remember Titan, as it has been run on his line and was well known to him whilst I was in south wales.
One of the other reasons for wanting to join is that all members are covered by the public liability insurance - useful for exhibiting the portable layout.
Actually the above is refering to the 16mm Live steam Association, not the Yahoo group! _________________ It's a Mamod Jim, but not as we know it!

| Hmmm Tag Gorton. Emailed him to ask him about some help with an old Merlin/Beck loco ive got he was as bout as helpfull as a bucket with a big hole in it. Shame as I know quite a few 16mm modlers from railways ive been to and everyone else has been very helpfull and friendly. |
