Its just that the screws that hold down one of the bearings came off, just need to screw it back on, and re adjust the timing. |
Those engines have adjustable timing? |
well, it just needs to be fiddeled around with, my D16 had to have the timing re-adjusted, just tapped it with a jeweler's screwdriver until it ran the best it could, and then tightened it.

They don't have adjustable timing! You can't adjust it at all!

Either way it didn't go well 
ITs one of those things that the more you use/run it gets looser and looser and rattles more!

Aye! Exactly! I bet the bloke that built it wasn't from Lincolnshire, if he was, he'd have had no problems doing it. Most of us are mechanically minded people
