No MM, Lewis was on about the MEC1 and that being flatbases, and I stated that there was only 1 REAL flatbase

the one thing i like about mamod is how long they have been going and keeping there customers happy along the way espessially on there build quality

Having a flat base doesn't mean it's "old enough"! I could build an engine today, and I could give it a flat base!

It has nothing to do with age!

Well no, when we say Flatbase we are all refering to the pre 1954 Mamod stationary engines. With its counterpart being the raised base
