Maybe you could balance it with lead weight on the rim, like a car wheel.

I probably could.
I haven't ran it yet so dont know how much it will effect it yet but I have a feeling this engine wont see to much running anyways as I don't want to damage the finish any more than it is already

Most impressive engine, Tony! I really like it. Will you do a vid for us?

I will but I havent even fired it yet.
For all the heavy casting and fancy works on it, it has a few things that actually is a bit of a let down in the quality of the machine.
The engine frame is nickle plated but they obviously didnt prepare the metal correctly as it is lifting in places. The flywheel is just a friction fit but unlike Mamods I dont think I would ever be able to remove it if I want to and worse of all the flywheel is cast and when they set it up for machining they didnt take time to centre is correctly so one side of the flywheel is atleast 2mm thicker than the other side so it is badly off balance.

That sounds bad Tony. Later Mamods have had friction/interference fit flywheels!

Yes its a shame as most of the engine is really good quality its just a couple of little things that let it down.
I think for an engine that costs in the vecinity of 250 to 300 pounds using grub screws on the fly wheels instead of a friction fit is not too much to ask.

Hope there isn't that sort of poor quality on their traction engine. Not for £750 anyway!
