Thanks. I so happened to stumble across the book myself on US Amazon today. There it bears the subtitle of "Tri-ang & Other British Toy Boats 1920 to 1960: A Pictorial Tribute."

This coincided with (and was prompted by) the arrival of the first boat (other than full size ones) I've had in more than 50 years -- a 1950s clockwork Sutcliffe submarine.

I'm afraid the photo shoot has been delayed because of failure to initiate ocean-going trials due to a missing conning tower bung. However, that's been ordered from the UK and once it arrives and the shakedown is complete, I'll be more than happy to oblige
