Put my D4 beside the D24

The smallest and the biggest 60`s Esbit-burning Wilescos

Its very useful to have the size comparison. When I first started collecting it was difficult to tell the different sizes.
If you just look at photos of individual engines in catalogs you can be forgiven in thinking they are all about the same size.

The D28 is 5cm (2 inches) wider than the D24 which is 40cm wide.
The D32 is 53cm wide.
If you want the depths of the bases I'll have to get a step ladder, they are all on high shelves and I'm a bit short.

Phil... Don`t you have a D24 so you could make the ultimate photo-shoot for us to compare sizes between the 3 biggest Wilescos?

Know you would have to get a ladder, but they all would like a nice spin when you get them down, which in turn will relieve your conscience for leaving them up there for so long...that is if you work anything like me

the next photo I need to take (when it finally arrives) would be my D2 against the D32

you could almost play a game: where's the steam engine on the steam engine?

Davey, I thought I had one of each Wilesco stationary.
But I don't have a D2, never heard of that one.
What does it look like?

Not possible Janne. (Heter det så på Danska? )
I have all of the Wilesco stationaries but my D32 is in bits and has been for some time.
If I had more time for my engines I'd put it back together and take a photo for you.
One day...

Phil
