She's a gem of a runner Mike
You could have got it a tad slower, you have to have very very very delicate taps on the regulator!
But she runs sweet as! a bargain _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode
You could get a nice flatbase for that

Thanks, i'm pleased with it. My fisrt flatbase mamod too It never ceases to amaze me how most of these engines just need a spot of oil here & there, fire em up & away they go, even after 50 years in the loft |

Top stuff MJ
Only just caught up with this thread thanks to people replying
Great runner there. I'm doing the same engine type up at the moment.
Is that carpet it's sitting on? Great idea for running a flatbase on _________________

No it's just an old hand towel, helps absorb some of the vibration. What the photo doesn't show, its filthy & you wouldn't want to wipe your hands on it An old oily towel never did too much harm i suppose. I reckon a couple of carpet tiles would do the trick, cheap & throw em away when they get manky. |
