Ok, just wondering if anyone has had the following problem?

I recently one an MM1 on ebay. 3 days ago. Now I can't get a price off the seller for postage.

Correspondance through ebay/and emails are not getting me a response.
A postage price was given pretty quicky during another auction from the same seller. I think they have engines on ebay at the moment too.

I know it's early days yet, but I checked their feedback, and it doesn't seem to be a uncommon thing with them. Win something, then no response

I'll give it a week, trying every 2nd day, then contact ebay?

Well still no word from this seller.
Reported to ebay, but ebay have been about as useful as I dunno what.

So a warning to buyers here. If buying anything from serendipity_online from UK ebay, then look at the negative feedback first, then judge for yourself.
I haven't left the neg feedback yet, but will when the auction end time has been a week ago.

That's a shame Wallace, and typical of some people!

As long as you haven't paid him!

Nah, thankfully.

Contacted ebay again about it after a response from ebay. They said I should open a dispute on this seller as "quite often people just leave neg feedback without taking further action". A dispute is recored against them, and after a couple of disputes from sellers they can be warned or suspended.

Well I have until day 10 to decide (about 3 days). Not sure if I really want to, as it means I may get a final invoice and get to pay, but not sure if I want the worry of wondering will I get the item. At least I will be paying via paypal, so might get money back.

Coments anyone. Dispute or not?

Tough luck Wallace. Must be really annoying. Hope I never get that.

Hope you get a resolution soon.

Nah, I wish.

They are a big seller, and they have left heaps of feedback for others since I won my item. They have even left feedback for items that have sold since I won mine.

That and the fact that my problem isn't an isolated case with them means I won't hear from them at all IMO. I read their neg feedback, and has happened to plenty of others

Ah I see, shame you won't get the Minor. You can take heart from the fact you haven't paid him anything though....

Maybe it's time to leave negative feedback?

Yeah definitely mate. Just undecided as to file a dispute. It may help others?

But in a way, I don't want to deal with the seller now. I won't know I'f I'll get it after paying, even though it'll be via paypal.

More leaning towards not file dispute

Even if he offered to post the item, I wouldn't deal with him Wallace! not worth the hassle!!

Dispute I think!

Yeah that's the problem I have. I want to file dispute, to get him blackmarked, but in doing so, he may "come to the party" and send item. Which I don't really want now, due to his untrustworthiness

Yeah,the problem is...

If he's willing to send the item, he could mark you as a non payer, and completly turn the tables
