I was wondering if anyone could give me the measurments of the sizes of the MM2 firebox??

The reason i am asking is i am going to try and build a portable generator for the WLR that fits on a scratchbuilt wagon. Unfortunatley my MM2s are in boxes in the garage.

My MM2 firebox dimensions.

97mm x 65mm x 65mm.

out of interest jim is this for the older wider firebox or the older narrower one ?

the wider firebox is 9.7 x 6.4 x 6.5 cm

older one is 9 x 5 x 7 cm

Both fireboxes will fit the same boiler
