| Hello , just joined I am 54 and live in Essex , my interests up until recently was an old MG and a motor bike but have had to give up both due to ill health and have now acquired the steam bug . I always wanted a mamod when I was a child but my parents would not let me have one , something to do with Meths and matches . I saw a TE1A in a shop recently and mentioned to the wife that I had always wanted one , and she bought it for my birthday I now own five , my latest pride and joy is a Mamod brass roadster that requires more polishing than any full size car that I have ever owned , I am now trying to get hold of a Wilesco brass roller or traction engine if anybody knows of one kindly let me know . |

Hi and welcome.
Wilesco black and brass mobiles are still current production. Google Wilesco for suppliers. Or, if you prefer, second hand ones show up occasionally on eBay. _________________ Regards

Hi Len, and a big Scottish welcome.
You've come to the right place, and I'm sure you'll soon be talking steam with us, like you've been here for years.
You'll find the forum does tend to have that effect on folks. _________________ http://www.sandmansteamshack.co.uk/
