I wasn't going to take part in this weekends event because i've been a bit too busy this week to get things organised BUT after reading the posts on STWWW i made time to clean a couple of my engines, take a few pics and a video.

First up is an engine i got from Phil (Mr Mamod).
It was a School project, the boiler is about the same diameter and 1/2 an inch shorter than an se3, the base is cast.

More to come tomorrow, i'm off to the pub across the road to join the gang,

I think school project engines have a charm all of their own. Crafted by young hands and often enjoyed by folk much older decades down the line.
Runs well too

That sounds a very powerful engine, I hope you do not mind but I have embedded it for you.

I agree, they are also one of a kind, no one else has the same engine,

I like that little home made/school engine. Your not allowed off to the pub yet, you've only put one engine up,       .

Cheers
