Hi all

I just bought a saito boiler today and am considering building a launch. I have done live steam garden railroading. I built a launch in the past with a scratch built hull using a Graham twin and Cheddar boiler.

I do some amateur machining and have built some steam engines. My saito boiler is alcohol fueled and I'm new to trying that method for heating the boiler. I'm hoping to learn more from this forum.

Thanks. I'm from PA and worked in Ohio. Lived in Philly for 9 years before coming to San Antone. Only problem here is very little water for running boats. All the rivers look like rock piles.

Hi there and a big Scottish welcome to the forum.

You've certainly come to the right place as we have a dedicated group of boaters here who are not only enthusiastic, but eager to help their fellow members in any way they can.

Enjoy the forum and don't be afraid to join in. I'm sure our members will want to know lots more about your garden railroading and your new projects.
