It is made to order only, you need to contact them first.

The one thing i don't like about the SP6 is the exhaust on them is quite messy and it would be nice if you had a pipe so you could channel it to a chuff pot.

The SP7 is made to special order only. I don't think it has ever been advertised on the web site.

I kinda wondered about that too...

It`s a rather new construction and it seems to spit all over, wonder why they didn`t fit an exhaustpipe to get the worst of it away from the engine

That is what put me off one a while ago, watching the videos of it, some of them make quite a mess on the bases. It really needs to be vented away.

The SP7 is indeed only by special request, and is not listed for sale anywhere.

I don't like the SP look with that silver firebox housing, but I do like the look of those SP6's, very nice.

The SP6 would look even better without the poor quality plating.I have already replaced both plated sides due to corrosion..

I have a sp6, its lovely to watch at about 120 rpm on the tach. I have machined an adapter and fitted a pressure gauge. It also runs on a bix burner. Little short on power but still nice!!

Pleased to hear about another one.

Love your workshop. Great to see so many accessories all going at once. Nicely laid out too.

I just "Googled" SP7, because I forgot what it looked like and scrolled down the pictures until I found a typo!

(It's Les his SP6. (Almost all "hits" on Google are from this forum, so that didn't surprise me.))

"Wassertand beachten" should be  "Wasserstand beachten". I wonder if all Mamod engines have this typo.

That's an interesting discovery on the typo, in case you didn't find the SP7 here is a picture of it.

Thank you everyone for your replies. We sem to have three SP6 owners-Cansteamer,Les and me.
At around £200 it is hardly a bargain, but it certainly packs a punch.
