Anyone going to this one???

ON SUNDAY 29 July, the Leeds and District Traction Engine Club is staging Steam Toys North at Armley Mills Industrial Museum in Leeds, starting at 1pm and throughout the afternoon. An invitation is extended to any youngsters (and others) to bring along their steam-powered toys – Mamods, Wilescos, stationary or mobile – to run and display on the day. Youngsters must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult and the Club reserves the right to prevent unsafe toys from being run.
Also on display will be a photographic exhibition of Leeds-built steam engineering products from the Club’s archives.
Readers are invited to visit the event and it is expected that the museum’s Hunslet locomotive Jack will be in steam and running and the museum’s mill engine will also be in steam as an added attraction. Admission to the Toy Steam North in the museum will be free but visitors who wish to visit the museum itself will be required to pay the normal admission prices.

I went last year and it's a great venue only a couple of miles from where I live. Unfortunately I'll be away on holiday so I won't be able to make it this year which is a shame. It would be good if the forum could support this event as much as we can as it has the potential to grow into a major show.

Im actually going to be in Leeds this Sunday but unfortunatly Ill be waking up on a friends sofa, shaking off a hangover and taking the morning train back to Middlesbrough, if this had been on any other weekend I would of gone down just for it.

i going there and i will have about 15 or 17 foot or somthing like that and i afew engines and hopefully if i dont upset health and safety afew engines running like a G&G se3 with workshop and smason
