Here for young Mick's pleasure - the rarer nut/bolt TE which has the steering rod which fits into the front axle NOT down the chimney.

Just won this, so another nut and bolt mamod enters the collection




obviously it will need a clean and I will have to sort a proper sv out and probably touch the black paint up. Also straighten out the problems with the front axel, but I'm glad to have another early mamod in the fold

I must admit I loved the TE1, I love the way it can be throttled down to a slow tick over, the TE1A has adifferent  quality of its own right but I prefer the TE1. Saying that I own six TE1A , however, I must add a riveted TE1 to my collection
