As it turns out, one of the lucky buyers of my herd thinning project lives about 15 minutes from me.
He bought 3 of my engines and is coming around tonight to collect them.
He's been collecting for awhile but has never seen the forum.
I'm going to introduce him to it this evening as I relieve him of some of his hard earned cash
and clear some shelf space, all in one fell swoop.
He, like me, has a passion for Empire but has quite a few different engines and it seems his son got him interested.
You Go boy!
If he decides to join the forum I'm sure you will give him a great welcome.
Not like the one I got from Phil. (Just kiddin'.)

Yep.
Scott came to pick up his engines.
He's an energetic young guy who talks more then he listens but nice enough.
He explained that he was a little concerned about us
both collecting Empire engines and competing with bids.
he does more resto and resell then I do.
I have most all of them so it turns out to be not much of an issue until that Twin shows up on ebay.
Nice young guy who started collecting with his son so it'll be a pleasure to get together now and then.
