Here's something to have a chew over.

I saw the Mamod Nik-Nak TE on ebay, saw the thread and then saw that Wilesco do special runs of D6 engines for companies in their colours. Well, that's all well and good, but we are the MAMOD Forum

So, I have an idea -

I hope that Mamod see this, or, if it's sounding like a good idea, I will write to them myself and propose it.

I like the idea of having a Mamod, say the iconic TE1a, done up in our colours - possibly a red boiler and "The Unofficial Mamod & Other Steam Forum" down the canopy and possibly our logo on it, too?

I reckon it'd be great if Mamod could do a limited run of say what, 50? Then we put them up for sale to our members - I know I would definately have one, regardless of the price - a sure piece of Mamod and Forum history.

What does everybody think? Would anybody be interested?

It could also help a company which we all love to boost their sales

Any thoughts, comments and suggestions are most welcome

Count me in, I wonder if they'd do an old style TE1, with the regulator, but reversing.
