I am a selfish SOB.
I like my time out of the house and taking care of a dog just doesn't suit my lifestyle.
maybe after I get confined to a power chair as opposed to a Harley.
I do however have a pair of cats. Gizmo and Annie.

Cats are so curious pets. They like to touch and closely examine the machine or toy that is taking your attention away from them.
A must for a steam engine or ham radio enthusiast

Dogs, on the other hand, will give their life for you. Will be there in times of difficulty and sorrow. Also in times of joy. The best friend.

I had a cat just like Stich's Gizmo. He died when our first son Roberto jr. was born. He just couldn't stand someone else was gathering all the attention. Its name was Ninno.

Never had another pet since. Too much suffering for us when he died.
My boys are all kind of animal protectors. They also would not stand if something happens to a pet.
