Sad, but to be expected. Chinese made engines are way cheaper and of good quality, not justifying the price for a Regner engine.

Very sad news.

But why is this in "Restorations"?! Surely it should be in the "General discussion" section?

A real pity,  hopefully somebody buys out regner,  garden railway specialists still seem to stock regner engines,  but for how long

When you can get them, nobodies had any reliable supplies of accucraft stock in ages.

I have a feeling Accucraft will be next if they don't get some stock in pretty quick.

Uhhh..do you own both a Regner and a Chinese engine? I can tell you that my Allchin ( they are Chinese) is nice, but it is not Regner quality.

I own a Regner Neptun and it is just mind boggling to see how many parts the engine actually has and what the quality is.  My Cotswold Perseus is a silly joke (quality wise) compared to the Neptun.

I think that Regner's real problem was marketing, if more people would have known about their engines they would have sold like hotcakes.

This is very , very sad news indeed. I am truly pissed.
