Here is a film from my first serious night race. Me against 5 computer driven cars.
1:32 scale this time, single lane start. Unfortunately, with the filming and all, I lost out a lot in the start with a few off track accidents, this led to me actually "not" winning. 3 "accidents" per car was allowed but with this rule, by the end, no cars actually made it to the finish line.
Night racing is tricky busyness and involve a lot of incidences that is not so frequent when you can see well,,, and more importantly, when you are not also hand holding a camera to film it...
FUN it is though !!!!!!

That was easy, Knut said he was losing and at the back.

Thank you Roly You point out one of the peculiarities with dark time racing. Since it is not totally blackout, it is possible to have a visual id at times but in practice one just have to consentrate on ones car and not do anything like filming at the same time, it then become impossible

thank you Graham
While we have a much more beautiful hobby in watching our model machines turn over, the fun scale with slot car racing is total.

I wouldn't compare the two activities though as model mechanics would win every time, but as entertainment value go, slot car racing is a wonderful pass time.
Highly recommended indeed

for sure. I totally lost track of what was my own car in the start of the race and the first lap, as the camera film show.
of course i ended up in the ditch very soon.. Still fun though. You should try it one day.
